Strand(s) PS2-1. Analyze data to support the claim that Newton’s second law of motion describes the mathematical relationship among the net force on a macroscopic object, its mass, and its acceleration.
Objective(s) (Learning Target{s})
We will define force and identify different types of forces acting upon an object.
 
Agenda
  1. Bellringer
  2. Discussion about force. Use the cart as an example of how force works.
  3. Define the different types of force and use examples of each type.
  4. Try interactive free-box diagrams to determine the forces acting on the objects listed.
  5. Exit Slip: “A book is at rest on a tabletop. Diagram the forces acting on the book.”

​Biology class will review for the Unit 2 test involving cells, cell theory, and cell transport.
